It might not have been the weekend he'd have been hoping for, but he rounded it out on a positive note.
Mastering the alternative strategy, Luke ran long on his first stint and hung it out for a late Safety Car. That intervention never came, but thanks to masterful tyre management, he was able to rejoin in P10 – up eight spots from where he qualified.
