The 2026 Super Formula season doesn’t start until April, but Luke will have an early opportunity to get behind the wheel of Kondo Racing’s Dallara SF23.
That’s because our British driver is set to visit Japan next week, to take part in the Super Formula Joint Test at the Suzuka Circuit.
It’s a venue that Formula 1 fans will be familiar with, of course, as the current home of the Japanese Grand Prix.
And it is a track that Luke should benefit from getting experience at, as he’s due to race there for four rounds during the upcoming campaign.
He’ll get an opportunity to do just that from Wednesday 25th - Thursday 26th February, across two days of testing in Mie Prefecture.
Each day will feature two sessions from 10am-12pm and 2-4pm JST, with a pit viewing for attendees pencilled in for 12.30-1.30pm on Wednesday.
More information and ticket details can be found on the Super Formula website here.
We can’t wait to see Luke back out on track ahead of the new season!
