Luke made his Goodwood Festival of Speed debut behind the wheel of the iconic Williams FW08C, the car that took Keke Rosberg to a Monaco win in 1983.
Tackling the famous hillclimb, the Atlassian Williams Formula 1 Team reserve driver showcased a piece of the team’s history, giving fans a chance to see the legendary car back in action.
Luke Browning:
“First time at Goodwood in the FW08C… just fantastic! Feels like the first time driving a Formula 1 car. It’s very very different, obviously the old cars heeling and toeing down the box, fantastic.”
“Just surreal what these guys drove back then, to think at one point this was driving around Monaco.”
Away from the hillclimb, Luke also got a chance to meet his childhood hero, Lightning McQueen!
