The Formula 2 season may be over, but there’s no slowing down for Luke this December.
Our Hitech TGR racer is coming off the back of an action-packed few days in Abu Dhabi, which saw him drive in Free Practice 1 for Atlassian Williams Racing, then compete in the final F2 race of 2025.
That was followed by a Young Driver Test with Williams — and now Luke will be heading over to Japan to take part in a Super Formula test for Kondo Racing.
The event takes place from tomorrow (Wednesday 10th December) until Friday (12th December), with the 23-year-old eligible to participate in all three days as a Super Formula rookie.
It is being held at the Suzuka Circuit in Mie Prefecture, which currently hosts the Japanese Grand Prix.
The Suzuka Circuit is typically a popular track with both drivers and spectators, thanks to its distinct figure of eight layout and challenging corners that leave little room for error.
Luke is linking up with the Toyota-powered Kondo Racing, where he will test alongside 2021 Super Formula Lights champion Teppei Natori and another yet-to-be-announced driver.
The Gotemba-based outfit won the Teams' Championship back in 2018 and had fellow British racer Zak O'Sullivan — a previous member of the Williams Racing Driver Academy — competing for them last season.
Super Formula is widely considered to be the pinnacle of single-seater racing in Asia. We’d like to wish Luke all the best for his test in Japan this week!
