Report: P3 finish for Luke at Spa-Francorchamps

Luke added yet more points to his impressive season tally by claiming a P3 finish in Spa-Francorchamps on Sunday.
Our Hitech TGR racer’s weekend got off to a slow start, as he placed just 12th in Qualifying, before suffering an early exit during Saturday’s Sprint after being sandwiched when exiting the first corner.
But things were to improve drastically in the Feature Race, when Luke mounted an impressive climb in the Ardennes forest.
The 23-year-old rose from 12th on the grid to initially finish in fifth — but things were to get even better post-race, following penalties elsewhere.
Arvid Lindblad was disqualified for a technical infringement, while Alexander Dunne — who was thought to have finished first — was hit with a ten-second time penalty for failing to engage the start-up procedure.
The end result was a P3 placing for Luke and a spot on the podium for the seventh time in 2025.
That 15-point haul in Stavelot means the Cheshire native now has a total of 113 for the campaign and is sitting fifth spot with five rounds remaining.
It’s not long until he has another chance to close the 11-point gap on leader Leonardo Fornaroli, either, with a visit to Mogyoród’s Hungaroring just a matter of days away.
