Super Formula is back this weekend!
Following a busy triple-header weekend at Fuji Speedway, Luke is back in Super Formula action as the championship heads north to Sportsland Sugo for Round 8 of the 2026 season.
As the final new circuit on Luke's rookie calendar, the weekend presents another opportunity to build experience and continue the momentum from his career-best qualifying performance in Fuji.

With only one opportunity to score points, qualifying will be crucial before Saturday's race, where Luke will be aiming to add to his growing championship tally.
A new challenge awaits
This weekend marks Luke's first competitive visit to Sportsland Sugo, meaning he will once again be taking on a completely new circuit in his rookie Super Formula campaign.
So far this season, Luke has adapted impressively to unfamiliar venues, securing two P4 finishes at Motegi and Suzuka, before claiming a career-best P3 qualifying result at Fuji.

Opened in 1975, Sportsland Sugo is one of Japan's premier motorsport venues and has been a permanent fixture on the country's top single-seater calendar for almost four decades.
The 3.7km circuit is renowned for its flowing layout, dramatic 70m total elevation change and technical sequence of corners. With its longest straight measuring just over 700m, Sugo rewards rhythm, precision and commitment rather than outright top speed, making it one of the most demanding tracks on the Super Formula calendar.
